Natorp Landscape Supply (NLS) Wholesale Customer Service - Sales & Loaders

Please note: This is a seasonal spring/fall position but may potentially lead to full time. The schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Some 1/2 day Saturday work is required during our busiest seasons. Hours are subject to change as needed.

NLS helpers must be at least 18 years old.

Position Summary

NLS Wholesale Sales Helpers & Loaders are primarily responsible for assisting all customers who either walk in, call, or email to purchase plant material from Natorp Landscape Supply, also known as NLS.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Assisting NLS sales staff with order picking.

Moving sold plants and related products to delivery or pick-up areas.

Loading and unloading plants into customer vehicles and trailers.

Stocking and maintaining display areas as required.

Keeping work vehicles clean and stocked with supplies as needed.

Working at other Nursery production departments when needed or as time permits, particularly during the winter months.

Things You Should Know:

Our work is done outdoors in all types of weather. Conditions vary from day to day.

Weights vary from .5 lbs. to 75 lbs. and up.

NLS Helpers must have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds from wagons, truck beds, and ground level fields on a repetitive basis. Must be able to load plants into customer trucks or other vehicles on a repetitive basis.

Other Requirements

A working knowledge of landscape and ornamental plants is helpful but not required

Excellent external and internal customer service skills are extremely important.

Excellent attendance.

Wages and Benefits

The starting pay for this job is 18.18 per hour. Benefits begin after 90 calendar days of satisfactory service and attendance.

Hours:

General hours are Monday through Friday 7:30AM to 4:00PM. Some 1/2 day Saturday work is required during our busiest seasons.
