Description
Natorp’s Landscaping is expanding its Landscape Design segment. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping homeowners realize their landscape dreams to perfection.
To be successful in this role at Natorp’s a potential candidate must also love to search and find new relationships to start the process. The 5 most critical qualities and skills for this position are: Hunting, Taking responsibility for ALL outcomes, Relationship building, Executing a consistent milestone-centric sales process, and Strong skills in landscape design.
At Natorp’s we sell high-end, custom engineered landscape design solutions sold directly to homeowners and some small business decision makers. The sales cycle is short so the ideal candidate must demonstrate they can start a new relationship and close for a decision in less than 10 working days. A truly qualified candidate will be able to demonstrate that they excel at finding new relationships, building from current relationships (get current clients to follow them to Natorp’s), and have very strong consultative selling skills.
The right person for this job is a self-starter, highly motivated, hardworking, is able to manage themselves while working in a mixed environment of on-site and remote work.
The sales environment can be described as having a very busy season where it will be difficult to juggle designing, prospecting, and project implementation. The average size design is over $5,000.00 and many of our clients are repeat customers. Our products and solutions are top of line, you will be closely managed and expectations to perform are high.
Those that are successful have an entrepreneurial mindset, are comfortable asking for business, will adjust well to pressure to perform, and being asked to demonstrate that they are doing the activities required to be successful.
If you take ownership of your results, come to work daily with specific sales objectives to be accomplished, have extraordinary landscape design qualities such as: Design, horticultural knowledge, creativity, attention to detail, analytical skills, landscape architecture understanding, and effective planning and implementation skills, then this might be the right fit for you.
Compensation:
Full time opportunity with an annual salary of $60,000 (15% commission on all additional full priced sales after a minimum threshold of $400,000 is reached excluding subcontract sales.)
